Like many people, I was raised to believe a person should get a college degree, and go to work in corporate America. So, that’s exactly what I did, securing a job as a software designer for one of the world’s largest benefits consulting companies.

However, after climbing the corporate ladder for 15 years, often working 50-60 hrs per week and trying to balance in time for my husband and our two sons the rug was suddenly pulled out from under me when my job was outsourced to India.

Determined to be in control of my own financial future, and sickened by what I saw happening in the corporate world, I resolved never to go back. I decided I would become an internet entrepreneur.
